On this page, you will learn more about the “Community of Friendship and Nature” that I would like to create in the coming year. You will get to know the orientation, location, and values of the magical island of Dominica.

On a shared property with 8-15 residents, my vision is to cultivate a nurturing community where we foster friendship, respect nature, and support one another through life’s challenges (modelled on the Friendly Societies). A space for personal growth and genuine human connection, where everyone is welcomed and valued.

Dominica – Living in Pristine Nature
Not to be confused with the much more touristy Dominican Republic, Dominica is a small island in the eastern Caribbean. It is called “The Nature Island” for a reason; our community is able to flourish here thanks to the surrounding volcanoes, natural hot springs, tropical rainforests and waterfalls.

Where the idea comes from
Thank you for giving me your time. I am Michael and I don’t see myself as a founder, but as the first person in this community. My heart’s desire is inspired by a combination of personal life experiences and my own fascination with islands. I have had the opportunity to live on a commune and co-found a community holiday home project with an owned holiday resort on La Palma, both of which brought me great happiness and peace.
